What is the monthly service fee?

We charge a minimal monthly service fee of $65.00.

When will that be due and how do I pay?

Your first payment of $65.00 will be due at the time of enrollment. You will then be set up for automatic monthly payments of $65.00 that will start 5 weeks from the time of enrollment.  This can be paid by credit card, debit card or bank draft. Sorry, no checks.

How will I get my medications?

Your medication will be sent directly from the pharmaceutical company. Each company has their own set of guidelines. Your medicine will either come directly to your home, to your doctor’s office or you will pick it up from your local pharmacy. 

Can I cancel at anytime?

Yes. You may cancel at anytime by providing us a written cancellation notice 15 days before your draft date.

Q: Who is SIMPLEFILL?

A: SIMPLEFILL is a nationwide advocacy service that helps qualified patients access and remain in Prescription Assistance Programs (PAPs).  PAPs are not regulated, so each drug company has its own qualifications, forms, processes for refills, rules for re-qualifying, and hoops you have to go through to access and remain in their program. It is ever-changing, complex, fragmented, confusing, and time-consuming! Patients can work directly with drug manufacturers if they choose; however, many patients prefer to utilize our service than try and do it on their own.

Q: How do I apply for this prescription assistance program?

A: There is no application fee. You can apply online by CLICKING HERE or you can call 1-877-386-0206.

Q: Who is this program intended for?

A: This program is intended for under or uninsured low income Americans who are struggling to pay for the high cost of brand name prescription medications.

Q: What if I am in the Medicare Donut Hole?

A: We take applications for patients needing assistance during the "Donut Hole" from January through September.

Q: Is this prescription coverage insurance or health insurance?

A: No. This program is not an insurance product and is not affiliated with any Medicare, state, or governmental programs.

Q: Is there a limit to how many medications you will help me with?

A: No! We can help you with as many prescribed medicines that our available in our formulary. If you need help with one prescription your cost is $55.00 a month. If you need help with 2-7 prescriptions, your cost will be $65.00 a month. If you have 8 or more prescriptions, your fee will be $85.00 a month.

Q: Where will my medications be shipped?

A: This varies and is up to each drug company. Most will ship to your doctor's office while some ship directly to your home, with some exceptions. If you would like to know how your particular medicine will be shipped, please email us. Questions @ simplefill.com

Q: What if I only need help paying for my prescriptions temporarily?

A: We certainly understand special circumstances that may cause you to need assistance on a temporary basis, such as unemployment, and we are more than happy to assist you during your time of need. Our program is a month to month program and you can cancel at anytime by submitting a written cancellation 15 days before your draft date.

Q: Can I benefit from this program if I am enrolled in a Medicare Part D plan?

A: Yes. If you are currently enrolled in a Medicare Part D plan and in the Medicare Part D Gap, or "Donut Hole", you may still qualify for this program with most drug manufacturers.

Q: Can this program help with the high cost of my diabetic supplies?

A: Yes. Abbott provides free FreeStyle Flash Meter Blood Glucose Monitoring System, FreeStyle Blood Glucose Monitoring System, or Precision Xtra Blood Glucose and Ketone Monitoring System, Strips, and Lancets to eligible applicants. Abbott requires that you have applied to Medicaid, been denied, have no prescription insurance, and meet their income guidelines. Their completed application must be sent in with a doctor's instructions about testing requirements, proof of income, and a denial letter from Medicaid.

Q: What if I have prescription insurance and still cannot afford my medication?

A: If your insurance company has denied paying for your brand name prescription email us your specifics at questions at Simplefill.com to see if we can help. If we cannot help you, you will not be charged.

Q: If I have a discount drug card or a prescription card through my pharmacy will I be eligible?

A: Yes. Use your discount or pharmacy card where it is beneficial and use our program for brand name medications to save you the most money.

Q: How are refills handled?

A: Refills are processed automatically by your Personal Advocate ahead of time so you will have your next shipment prior to running out of your current supply. IMPORTANT: If you receive any correspondence from a drug company, contact your Personal Advocate right away.

Q: What is the re-qualifying process?

A: Most drug companies approve you for one full year and will require you to apply for re-qualification annually. Others require re-qualifying quarterly or semi-annually. We will automatically handle it for you!

Q: What is the cost for your advocacy service?

A: A minimal monthly service fee of $65.00 is charged for up to 7 medications and $85.00 is charged for unlimited medications. There are not hidden fees, co-pays, or taxes. We do not charge an application fee. If we cannot help you, we will not charge you.

Q: When do I become qualified?

A: Final approval is always up to each drug company. If you are denied coverage, you or your doctor will be notified directly by the drug company. In such case, call your Personal Advocate and we will help with an appeal when appropriate at no additional cost to you. If you do not qualify and we cannot save you money, we will refund your initial deposit. See our refund policy below for details.

Q: What if I have a change in my medication?

A: Contact your Personal Advocate about any changes to your brand name medications including if a change in your doctor, dosage or frequency, or medication. We will make the appropriate changes for future refills and assist you with new brand name medications whenever possible at no additional cost to you.

Q: How do I determine my Number of People in Household and Income for Household?

A: Generally this is determined by tax guidelines. If someone is claimed as a dependent for tax purposes, they should be included. If you are living with a relative or friend but filing your own taxes, you should not include your relative's or friend's information.

Q: Do I have to be a US resident to access these programs?

A: Yes, most drug manufacturers require US residency to qualify.
